Our church used to own a ranch near Ramona.
Once. probably 40 years ago, a couple of us hopped a fence
and walked to this pond on the adjacent property.
It has since become a nature preserve.
I stayed in the truck, engine running, facing the exit drive,
while my wife bravely strolled to the pond and took some pictures.
We each took pictures of the deer, who were unafraid.
