There are 5 ponds along this creek.

The first one was completely dry, then we found the parking lot pond.
I named this pond because it's just below the main tourist parking lot
near the center of town in Julian.
You would never know it's there if you didn't park along the back
row of the lot and look over the side.
Thankfully (for weary pond-hunters)
the city of Julian also provides clean toilet facilities there.
We found the other three ponds along Hwy 78 / 79 (with difficulty).

I wish I could have gotten better pictures of these ponds.
But I draw the line at climbing through barbed wire fences
Or over locked gates clearly visible on the roadside.
