The name of this pond is a misnomer.
True, it is named after the park in which it resides.
But I saw no woodland.
(I don't count a few palm trees as "woods")
The pond is on a corner of two large roads,
is surrounded by hardscape,
and when I was there, occupied by
hundreds of ducks and one lady who was busily feeding them.
We came by unintentionally on a second visit
and my wife was impressed by the overall scene.
Signs justifying the pond's existence and operation,
and warning/scolding you!
